This Porcini Steak Salt recipe makes 1 1/2 cups.
1/4 cup garlic powder
3 Tablespoons black peppercorns
2 Tablespoons dried rosemary
1/4 cup Dried porcini mushrooms
1 cup Kosher salt (Diamond Crystal)
1. Grind peppercorns, rosemary and dried porcini mushrooms in a coffee/spice grinder until it forms a powder. Mix with the rest of the ingredients.
2. Use as a seasoning on meat, lamb, pork, poultry or potatoes. It keeps in an airtight container for one year.
